01. I sprained my ankle in gym today.
*head to desk* Remember how I passed out in class on Monday? (If you missed it, that entry is
here.) Well, I ended up missing school on Tuesday because I still felt horrible and then Wednesday and Thursday I skipped gym. Today was the first day I participated again and, of course, it was a really hard class. I had another dizzy spell in the middle of running up and down bleachers, lost my footing, and re-hurt the ankle I twisted really bad at a party a couple weeks ago. The doctor thought I broke it at first but, THANK GOD, I didn't. It's just a really bad sprain and I have to wear a boot for a week or two. I refused the crutches with an adamant 'there is no way in hell' and he let that go but I do have to put up with the boot. I'm trying to look at the bright side: NO GYM FOR AT LEAST A WEEK. *dances*
As far as the dizzy spells go, he thinks I might be anemic. I highly doubt this but whatever, they took the test and we'll know Monday. (Speaking of, I think it's highly amusing that the test for anemia - which more or less means you don't have enough blood - consists of them taking your blood lol.) My mom and friends were highly amused by the whole thing. A girl obsessed with vampires is anemic? Heh. *rolls eyes*
02. Speaking of vampires, I saw 30 Days of Night. Fucking creepy ass movie is what it is (It's the first time I watched/read something with vampires where they didn't have one redeeming quality. I did like the way they were affected by sunlight though, that was a cool effect.) Melissa George? You are fucking gorgeous, just so ya know. Ending? Way to make me want to cry! Overall, I really did like it. I'm not sure I'd be able to watch it repeatedly but I wouldn't object to own it and I do want to icon it. I repeat: Melissa George is fucking gorgeous. And her and Josh were pretty together. *pets* Now I want to read the graphic novel to see what they changed. *adds to wishlist at
TFAW*
03. And speaking of more vampires, Moonlight rocks my socks off. Just thought I'd put that out there. I love that it's not one of those dragging shows that takes forever to get people together. On a show where the main character is a vampire, it would be really easy to put all this fake drama in to keep the main couple apart (HELLO REAPER AND GOSSIP GIRL, I'M TALKING TO YOU) but not only does she already know he's a vampire, she's accepted it, started having issues with her boyfriend, and kissed him. *squees* I can't wait to download tonight's episode.
04.
aliasagent has kind of got me hooked on
holiday_wishes. I'm kind obsessed and my wishlist will be posted later. (Along with another post for Christmas/Fill-in-the-blank-holiday card sign-ups.) Anyone want to link me theirs?
05. I'm also kind of obsessed with Chuck/Blair, along with the rest of the fandom it seems. I swear, if
crazy__girl hadn't already made
a kick-ass fansite, I would already have one done. *sighs* Though, if I didn't already have Penn, I would have made an Ed Westwick site instead. (That boy is a hundred ways of awesome.)
Now I'm off to go catch up on back comments. LOVE YOU GUYS. Later.
ETA: Anyone want to point me to good icons of Gossip Girl, 30 Days of Night, Reaper, Dirty Sexy Money, Moonlight, Across the Universe, etc? I desperately need new icons and I don't have any of my new fandoms. *pouts*
