01. We are officially moved and it's such a relief, even though we're not nearly done unpacking. Pictures of the new place are coming soon, the crap everywhere just really dosen't make for good pictures so I'm planning on doing that later. However, I do love my room like whoa. It's a huge bonus room whose only flaw is the fact that it's at the top of two flights of stairs. Two flights of stairs that are the reason for a very sore Hider today. I spent all day yesterday lugging up my crap and now I'm all achey lol.
02. Everything went more or less smoothly with the moving, except for the fact that my computer has broken. It was working fine (or, well... as fine as it gets) at the old house and then we moved it, and no turn on. At first I thought maybe I was uust missing something, but five people double-checking it has assured me that is indeed the piece of crap's fault and not mine. This isn't that big of a deal because I'm getting my laptop this weekend, but it's still a pain in my ass because I won't have a computer for a week. (Can you say BOOOOOOOORED? 'Cause I will be.)
03. Remember what I said about Brandon in the last entry? Well I got to see him! He called my mom to find out where I was and then showed up at the house when I was moving on Friday! He only got to stay for like an hour, but it was good to see him. Though, when I saw him I ran straight into a hug with him and I guess it kind of sent the wrong message. My mom's new friend asked if he was my boyfriend and that was... akward. I'm guessing that would pretty much be like dating a brother so... ugh.
04. It's been decided that I'm going to prom... by Brianne, who proceeds to hit me everytime I mention that I don't think I want to go. So in the intrest of self preservation, I've caved. We went dress shopping on Thursday (school was called off two hours early on account of rain-woot!) at this shop that had this dress she saw in a magazine. They had it, she loved it, looks great in it, and bought it. Here's it. I had no luck thoguh and was discouraged until I looked online and found some really cute ones. But regardless, both of us are determined to lose weight and since we have 11 weeks until prom, we have plenty of time. The trips to the gym start this week.
05. Speaking of... sort of, I'm staying with my dad tonight and he's actually being really decent. I needed to talk to him about some financial stuff and it went really well. But we talked, actually talked and I'm really excited about the outcome. Not only is he going to pay for my prom dress (and get Alex to do my hair) and my monthly gym membership, but we worked out a money system where he's going to deposit $30 a week into my debit, and he's going to start paying for my insurance too ($130), which is a big help. I'm really sort of proud of him for trying to do better about hating my mom, he even offered to call and talk to her if talking about money and such made me uncomfortable (a big step for my dad - who has refused to even sit in the same room with her for the past three years).
06. Everyone on my flist is uploading music and soundtracks and I love you all for that. Not only do I need new music, but this week is going to be iTunes-free thanks to my computer problems and that's where all my music is, I have like none of it on actual CDs. So I've been trying to be burn all my favorites to disc, and desperately praying all that I have on my mother's computer has not been lost. But I do have a request: would anybody be willing to upload me any Krysten Ritter/Ex-Vivian songs they have? I had a bunch that I downloaded from one you but they've randomly dissapeared and I reeeeally want them. *makes puppy dog face* Anybody who uploads me anything (krysten or not) will have my undying love and get matched song for song with random ones from mwah. *begs openly*
07. Everyone on my flist has spent the past month discovering the awesomness that is Twilight by Stephanie Meyer and it's gotten me all into the series again. (It helps that I just lent the book to Brianne and she's been texting me with random quotes/comments all day - and threatening me with everything under the sun if I don't find the second one soon lol.) So I had to reread the book for the fifth time and now I'm all anxiously awaiting the third one now lol. But I love that it actually has a really active fandom, there are a buttload of communities for nearly ever ship/character/etc and the enormous amount of fan fiction/fan mixes make me happy. PS. I was surfing stepheniemyer.com (yes... again) and saw that under popular fan suggestions for actors to play Edward in the movie was Robert Pattinson.... Admit it msmiraclegro, that was tooootally you before you whole Gaspard obsession came along, wasn't it? lol.
08. My new ship is Logan/Parker and I've been obsessing about it for the past week or so. (Though nobody spoil me for this week's episode, which I haven't been able to watch because of the computer.) I've also been on a Dean/Jo kick lately, as I've actually found a fanfic place for them and it's got me all addicted again.
09. I do not know how I feel about the whole Milo/Emmy thing. I just... don't.
10. I do know how I feeel about Sabrina the Teenage Witch: Season One being released on DVD: HELLZ YEZ. *is lame for being excited* Oh come on, you know you loved that show. And even if you're gonna claim you don't, admit that you want to see Milo's guest appearance in his 4.9 seconds of screen time glory. ADMIT IT.
