Nagi has a prezzie for Gojyo. He's had it for a while. So long that he'd misplaced it, in fact. Now seems like a good time to give it, assuming that Gojyo's around.
It's over the river and through the woods to... awww hell, Nagi's never gonna get that song out of his head now. Knock knock!
The door likes Nagi. Thus, the door is already half open by the time Hakkai starts to call out. "Come in- ... Ah, well, it seems you've already been invited in."
He holds the door open with an elbow, smiling warmly at Nagi and wiping his hands on a towel. Does it smell like cookies? "Hello, Nagi."
Hakkai motions for Nagi to come in. "Ah, yes. On both counts. Cookies at the moment. I was planning on waiting till Gojyo got home before I made anything more substantial, but since you're here, any requests?"
Hakkai laughs as he follows Nagi. "I think we have enough cookies for now."
In the kitchen, Nagi will find a cooling batch of normal chocolate chip cookies, and a half-done batch of... well, to be honest, Hakkai isn't quite sure. Something with plenty of cinnamon, from the smell of it, and apparently nuts of some sort. He's been experimenting.
Nagi will also find Hakuryu sitting on the counter and nibbling a clawful of the cinnamon cookie dough. Meep, Nagi.
As long as he leaves some for Gojyo, and perhaps Sanzo. Hakkai imagines the look on his face at getting a batch of cookies would be reason enough to give him some.
Hakuryu meeps happily back. Unfortunately, he has no hands to hold cookies, so he has to be happy with bits of dough for now. Hakkai reaches over to run a finger down his back, getting a content chirr.
"He's been back in my world. I guess he stayed behind when I came back here the last time."
"I'm afraid I couldn't trust something like this to the Nexus. I had a few things to take care of, as well. So I went back. A lucky thing I did, too, or I wouldn't have found Hakuryu here, just as happy as I'd left him."
"I suppose they do, don't they?" Hm, the rest of those cinnamon cookies need to come out of the oven. Careful, those are very hot. "I won't promise anything, because that seems to be a worse idea every time I do it. At the moment, however, I have no plans to go anywhere."
