All of you new people must thing this place is very scary and confusing, right? Well, it's neither. Mayfield is the easiest place there is to live. In fact, it's literally impossible to fail at that.
To fully enjoy Mayfield life, one simply needs to follow a few easy rules. First of all, don't cause problems for certain people, like the police chief. Really, even this rule can be ignored, as long as you don't mind being brainwashed. Second, don't cause problems for everyone else. There's no leaving, so you'd better be friends with your neighbors, or they might hate you forever.
Third, don't pay attention to anything said or done by the Demon God living at 767 Bunker Street. I live there myself, and I can assure you that whatever my father is doing or babbling about, it can safely be ignored. If you aren't sure who he is, look for a tall person with terrible fashion sense, wrapped in several layers of scarves.
That's about all there is to it, really. Whatever you do or don't do, even if you hang yourself, you won't die, so relax and enjoy life in a carefree way. Strange things happen from time to time, too, so you won't get bored.
