Sep 30, 2010 16:40

Hanging your head just a bit, you jolted up while catching yourself fall asleep again. It was 11:38 PM and you were waiting for your fiancé to get off work to join you to talk about meeting details. Since he always liked it better when the both of you met up, you decided to wait at his favourite gyoza house. The waiter-san smiled as he refilled your oolong cha, “Waiting for Masuda-san again?” implying the fact that you were the one always waiting for him. You returned saying, “Hai” and he resorted back to his duties. Though it was 24hour shop, not many people sat in during this time and thus, you knew the shop owner and staff’s just as well as Masuda Takahisa did.

It happened during sometime that you did end up falling asleep and had buried your head onto the desk with your arms supporting it. Feeling a cold spur of wind beneath the table, you knew that someone had opened the door. The wind poked you on the head and sat down, “Sorry! I’m late!” he said as put his bag down and continued to fix his hair. Flashing a blinding smile at you, you woke up and blinked at him starring at your fiancé with a blank emotion. “Oh, you’re here” you answered in a nonchalant tone. Resorting Masuda to pout a little, “Mou, I tried to get here as fast as I could, so could you at least say welcome me and not put me to guilt?” You couldn’t help but to giggle at his tone as you freshened up by his presence. “Sorry! But anyways, are you hungry?” At the thought of food, your fiancé smiled again and nodded frantically like a child and yelled out, “TWO ORDERS OF HOUSE SPECIAL GYOZA PLEASE!” and it was followed by a “HAI!” in response seconds later.

Sipping his cup of hot water, Masuda watched intently as you took out your package of the planning details “So, Taka-kun, tomorrow, according the schedule we have to arrive on the -“ you were cut off by him as you saw him leaning on the table with his elbows an was looking at you with a grin. “What?” you question him, “I know I called you out to discuss about the wedding and the final procedure, but you don’t have to worry about that. Koyama will take care of it, he’s already doing most of it anyways, all we have to do be there right?” with such a sudden response, you tilt your head, showing him that you were confused. “What I’m saying is that tonight, rather than being burdened by all this planning, will you allow me to bring you somewhere with me?” “EH?” your replied frantically, knowing Koyama might overdo things “Don’t worry, I called Koyama early and I warned him. If he screws up, he’ll see SUPERMASSU” he emphasized ‘SUPERMASSU’ by flexing his arms like a body building, causing you to burst out in laughter. “Hai, I’ll go with you. But what about your gyoza?” you reminded him as both of you put your packages away. “FUFUFUFUFU” his dweebie smile painted across his face “Of course we go AFTER that!”

After eating your full serving of gyoza you skim through the here’s and there’s of both of your daily life and how your packing was going. Since you were going to live with Masuda after your marriage, so you had to pack up everything you needed and render out your place for someone else. As you two were chatting and smiling like a happy couple should be, you saw the owner of the shop walk by and place 2 plates of cake on your table. Your fiancé quick to react smiled as he greeted the owner. “Here is something little in celebration to your wedding tomorrow, and also a thank you for inviting us” the Owner-san said to the two of you and kindly excused himself. “Uwa! We are so lucky! Itadakimass” Massu said as he dug into the cake, you following along suit shortly, “You know” he said in-between bites “when I would always walk you home, I’d always come here after, talking about you with the Owner-san, somehow, this place has amidst us from being strangers to now, husband and wife, isn’t that amazing?” he asked you, only to find you indulged into your cake. You just nodded cutely as you had a mouthful and he smirked, putting his fork down, he yelled with his loud deep voice, “Bill please!” You made a very distort face in shock as you were only half way through cake! If your fiancé had a gyoza obsession, then cake was yours. The bill came soon after and you saw him paying, you tried to quickly eat your cake but he stopped you, “You don’t have to rush, I would never leave without you, enjoy your cake, you love it just as me right?” he blushed a shade of light pink as he tried to force those last lines.

“Are you done? Jaa ~ lets go!” Your fiancé said abruptly after you set your fork down and wiped your mouth. He took you by the hand and ran out the door.
