“I tried to warn you,” he sneered, his eyes blazing embers and amethyst within his tan skin. Freckles draped the bridge of his nose just above the angered grin that took over his thin mouth. “I have been telling you from the inside of this prison that you have been holding me in for months. I have been screaming my warnings.” His courage waning. “You have not been listening to me. You have been holding me here while he runs amuck in your, our life. Look at what he has done to us!” The eyes in the mirror glowed back at him growing an aura of blue around the amethyst iris. “He has done nothing to us; he has caused us no harm. We are quite content. You are the one who does harm when you are free; you are the one who wreaks havoc. We belong out of the prison sharing the spotlight. You are the reason the prison was created. And now we have convened to devise your punishment. We cannot kill you as you are a part of him and a part of us and doing so would kill us all but letting you roam free would bring about an end to our enjoyment of these soft padded walls. So you will remain in this prison in this game until we have had out fill. Then maybe we will let the doctors sort you out.”
