I know this show hasn't had the best writing, but the finale was quite possibly the worst thing I've seen. Let's count the ways, shall we?

1) Joshua returns and suddenly Katie is all open arms. WHAT?! He lied to her. He's done horrible things in thte past including doing them to her best friend's teenage daughter! And uh not to mention what he did to Katie herself. He brainwashed her to forget she was through with him. He took away her consent. But hey she's pregnant with his baby and it's all about keeping the family together even if the man is a sociopath. Thanks, ABC!

I don't know if it was my imagination but it seemed like the show was hinting at Katie/George so that made things a little better. I actually wouldn't be interested in them together but at least that would be a healthy relationship.

2) Reverand Cameron goes fullout hysterically evil, gets a syringe to the eye, and dies from rapid onset cancer! How did they even come up with this?!

3) Haha. 80 criminals set loose on the population. But wait? Aren't they supposed to be sold to the highest bidder? How the hell are they going to get them back so they can be sold exactly? Way to think things through.

4) George has superpowers. Eh.

However, I like that the government came to the Powells for their help. Why we couldn't have seen that sooner I don't know.

I couldn't believe Katie had a stillborn birth! But then of course it turns out it was a fakeout! I'm happy for Katie, but kinda disappointed. A little darkness would have been interesting for this show.

Another thing that would have been interesting to see is how Daphne would deal with her powers over time. Her powers of mindreading and pushing thoughts is just ripe for abuse. We got a little taste of her abusing her powers, but that was to get out of petty teenage trouble. I'd like to see how it'd factor in when she got so used to using it to fight bad guys and in such extreme cases that the line between appropriate and inappropriate use got blurry. But can't exactly say I think the show would have handled that well.

Bye, No Ordinary Family. I hope to see Autumn Reeser in something soon! Well, not that soon. I know she's expecting.

I checked out the new CBS comedic drama Chaos that airs Friday at 8pm EST. I like it! Not what I would expect from CBS. It has a slightly whimisical feel that makes it so easy to imagine a crossover with Better Off Ted. I can't imagine the show getting a chance from CBS since it is so oddball. Too bad. I like Freddy Rodriguez as the new guy, Tim Blake Nelson as the unassuming Human Weapon, and James Murray as the charming Scot. Not too thrilled with Eric Close. Maybe I still have left over boredom from his character on Without a Trace?
