Wizards of Waverly Place
I'm watching the marathon of Wizards of Waverly Place.
Previously, I haven't given this Disney show a chance for 3 reasons.
1) Bad special effects! Yes, yes it's a Disney tv show so it's not like they can afford good special effects but I don't get why you would bother with a show about MAGIC if you can't have the special effects to back it up.
2) Selena Gomez's hair. It bugs. It just looks so big. It's not really but something about it drives me crazy.
3) The father. He played Samantha Carter's boyfriend on SG-1 who followed her around!
But well, it's on so I've been watching and it's cute. It's nice that it has a interracial family, but it doesn't make a big deal out of it. It just is. I also like the relationship between the older brother and sister. I am putting energy into making sure I don't end up shipping them. I think I've perverted enough Disney shows as it is. And I love Justin on his own. He's such a dork.
I have to say I thought it was a little messed up when I found out that only one of the kids will end up keeping their powers. Way to increase sibling rivalry.
