The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.
Well, hey. It's been awhile. I've never spent so much time away from lj, from not posting to not keeping up with my flist. It was very weird how a conscious decision to stay away for awhile while I caught up on Supernatural and Smallville (the latter I still haven't done yet. Can you say weekend marathon?) turned into a not so conscious decision that had me away for 3-4 months. Aside from exams and the daunting task of playing catch up, I just think lj wasn't giving me what I had come to expect from it, which was way too much to ask from an internet hobby to begin with. I'm just going to try to get what I need from what I put in to it and stop looking so much to others. Blahblahblahcakes.
Anyway, in my time away I have...
- kicked ass this semester and took names (4 A's and a B+)
- newly turned 24
- made plans to go to NYC this month for my niece's baptism
- trying to figure out my future after I graduate next fall
- been still completely bad with new people
- dealing with the possibility of my dad having surgery
- enjoying Ugly Betty, Heroes, and Supernatural
- procrastinating & becoming a master at cramming
- continued to make bad decisions and leave my family out of the loop and still have them support me
- struggling to be a better friend and a better person (if only I could be even 1/10 less judgmental and envious)
And what have you been up to? I will accept haiku form, 3 word summary, or a ramble of an indeterminate length. For those who won't comment I'll assume you were doing something inappropriate with Popsicles this whole time while watching your favorite tv show.
