Weekend in VT to see Eric in Much Ado About Nothing...

It was srsly SO much fun. Lake Champlain was right outside the hotel, and was SO beautiful. The town was small, but really quaint & pretty. LOVED the General Store with its Democrat bench out front. I love all things history-related, and it was definitely a throwback to times past.

Eric was AMAZING, as was his wife Jenny, who played opposite him as Beatrice to his Benedict & the entire cast of Much Ado About Nothing. Somehow the play on Saturday was even better than on Friday, if that's even possible. They were just all on their game that night. I laughed SO hard during the entire thing. Eric's fantastic at the physical comedy & has such awesome comedic timing. And the voices he does, faces, and mannerisms are completely hysterical. Really enjoyable play all-around, definitely one of my favorites of all time. Eric ad-libbed this entire part where he swings from a rope/vine after trying to cross to the other side of a raised platform on nothing more than a long stick, then he grabs a bird out a tree & it bites him, which, aside from the part where he plays a Watchmen & does a stoner/surfer voice, is my FAVORITE part. SO funny! And loved that I got to sit next to Silke & Megan to watch both Friday's & Saturday's. <3 Love those girls so much & definitely one of the best parts of the weekend was spending it with them, as well as roomming with Megan!

The Meet & Greet Friday was a lot of fun too. You could tell that they were all really tired, especially Eric (I think he was sick too actually) but they were all so gracious & nice. I talked to Collin & Parrish (other actors in the play) for quite awhile with Megan - Collin actually worked on ATWT in the Parker/Liberty storyline for like 2 episodes - and they were both riots! Love those guys. And Eugene was also really sweet, as was Sheffield (also other actors in the production). And I got 2 hugs from Eric both days. On Friday night he hugged me & told me to "take care" and I told him to take care too & on Saturday night, we all said goodbye to him after the play & he looked directly at me when he asked when we were leaving & I said tomorrow, then he hugged me. *flails a little just thinking about it*  He was SO sweet. He messed up my name signing something for me, and was like "Go get another one & come back to the front of the line when you get back." I didn't cut in, let others go in front of me & he saw me after awhile & reached for what I had him sign before anyone else could get to him. Also, Friday night, Eric was finally about to get food & I was like "I was just gonna ask you if you ever got food yet" and he LOL'd & was like "No, not yet. I left you guys to go do that."

I think the best part of the entire weekend though was getting to hang out with a lot of awesome people, ESPECIALLY Megan, Silke & Sarah, Col. I couldn't have asked to share this experience with a more awesome group of people. <3

I also couldn't have asked for better car-mates than the ones I had too. The drive back took like 10 hours as opposed to 7 - we took a different way - but it was SO much fun regardless. LOL Thanks to Amanda, Sharon & Evie for making that SO many LOL's! Also really glad I got to meet/hang out with Demesha, Stephanie, Jenny, Kim, Teri, Monette, Gwen, etc. Such an awesome group. Everyone's seriously so nice & friendly & we all got along really well.

Also, fun fact: Eric apparently thinks Reid's a top. But Parrish thinks he's a total power-bottom.
Parrish was all like "Yeah, I told Eric his character's a total power bottom, but he insists he's a top." I just think it's beyond hysterical Eric's even thought about this & talked about it with others. Megan & I, when we were talking to Parrish too, told him about the rumored ending & Eric apparently told him that he couldn't tell him anything & he said he should discuss it with him (or something to that effect) and Megan & I were both like "DO IT!!!" LOL I so hope he actually did. I would've loved to see Eric's reaction that his co-stars know the ending now, even though he couldn't/didn't tell them.
