Happiness House
Work went well. Angie and I made kickass tips for a sunday night. Monday I was so uber sick though. I felt like crap and couldn't talk at all. I noticed a pattern though. I was sick for like a week during the beginning of december and then I got better and then was sick for another week during christmas and then I got better and now I am sick again. But it is all the same thing: sore throat, achiness, headache, sinus pressure, hard to breath, coughing....it is like a really bad sinus infection/bronchial thing that never really gets better. I called into work yesterday. I have been drinking tea like mad and Rusty made the most incredible vegetarian vegetable soup last night. Delicious!!! I finally found the energy to clean my tropical tank today and it looks soooo much better. The hair algae is really clearing up..all my fish are stunning(of course) = P. I also upgraded my 15 gallon tank to the a 30 gallon and dumped the brown flourite in there instead of the gravel. No new plants or structures or anything just everything from the 15 gallon...it filled out surprisingly well. I have 2 filters running on this new 30 gallon now. So my red ryukin (orion) is very happy with twice the room to swim in! I got him a friend too since I read they were happier with more than one goldfish and he does seem a whole lot happier. He is swimming around all over the place and they like to swim in circles around each other. They are good buddies already! This new guy is a calico ryukin (gold body with black spots, white fins with black spots and a white face on the right side and a black face on his left side) and I named him Pluto. So now there is Pluto and Orion and they can get nice and big and be happy in their new 30 gallon home. Sweet.... Poor mom is sick. ew and I'm so worried about my squishey pie sister...she is having such a hard time at UVA with getting into her classes and not having enough money for tuition and such. eek. I'm a very lucky girl to have my loans and school under control, a job, a comfortable place to live, a boyfriend who loves me a whole lot and takes care of a lot of things and enough extra money for frivolous things like fish tanks and aerogarden products and hamsters and k-cups...sigh. I think I will go drink another cup of tea and play some WOW(its been a really long time).
