Holy crap this is the longest entry I've posted in 3 or 4 years.
What has been going on since the last time I posted anything.
A lot. Most of it is dumb stuff though. This summer has been going by pretty fast.
And speaking of the summer, it doesn't feel like it at all. Wasn't it no higer than 70 all last week? It's July!
I start back at school in like a month and a half, and I think it's definitely going to be the hardest semester ever so far. It's the first semester of the vet tech program, and I have to take classes like animal anatomy, small animal techniques, blah de blah de blah. I have no idea what or how they teach stuff like that. It'll be a suprise.
For anyone who cares or didn't already know, I got a job at a vet place, unexpectedly. I had to job shadow a veterinary technician for the online class I took this summer, and was handed an application that the manager said was just to "keep track of who job shadows here." So I filled it out and then I got a call 3 days later telling me I start the next week. Uhhh, so I guess it was a good thing since things at the beanery are so shitty, but I really was unprepared. There is so much stuff to learn and keep track of and remember and do and I'm only a receptionist right now. It's too crazy, considering I went from getting paid to brew coffee and read newspapers all day, to somewhat being responsible for animals lives. And there are so many people who work there, I can't remember anyones names since I've never been good with names to begin with. Ooh well. I bought a pair of neon green scrubs.
I want to go on a vacation before the summer is over. Even if it's just up north or something. Anyone?
I've actually been feeling kinda lame these past few weeks, and have no motivation to do anything. I really want to clean my room and the house and do constructive things, but whenever I have the time to actually do stuff like that is after work, and then I don't feel like doing anything of that sort. I need to stop being lazy. And procrastinating so much. Eh, I'll work on that later.
In other news, anyone who I've hung out with in the past week, I love you. Each and everyone of you. Just sos you know.
Also, Rick, I miss you. Can I come to Georgia sometime to visit you and Jessica? Our house is so boring lately.
It doesn't feel like a Friday, and it feels so cool everytime I remember that it is, and that I don't have to work at the vet place again until Tuesday. I'm going to go out and enjoy the weekend :)
