[It seems like someone is arguing with a vulpix on the outskirts of Violet City. The vulpix in question is curled up in a tight ball and appears to be sleeping. Or...sulking? There's a bowl of--what is that? It looks like a bunch of mush.]

Well, it looks to me like you're taking it too personally. Calm down, take a step back, and tell yourself that it's only food. There's nothing wrong with a friendly competition, but don't take it too seriously.

Not necessarily. You could buy imperishable food before you set out. And once you're out in the wild, the only method of cooking you have is by campfire.
