So NaNo
Someone kill me. I'm doing NaNo again this year. I have a bunch of other things I need to do, so the only explanation is that I'm insane.
Anyway, here's my synopsis so far:
The first law of witchcraft? Souls are not to be messed with in any way, shape, or form.
"Apparently, you're a very special person."
"No, I'm boring. Perfectly dull in fact."
Heiderich's every day life is normal and boring. That is, until he meets a homunculus, a living doll, and the witch that created him. Or rather, until he's accosted and kidnapped by said witch. With living dolls, souls, and magic suddenly being real, his uneventful life is suddenly turned upside down. Said witch, Basil, is convinced that the homunculus, the first 'perfect' specimen of its kind, holds a piece of a soul. Basil has done the forbidden and yet he's not sure if he wants to return the soul piece or somehow give Heiderich's soul in its entirety to the homunculus.
The witch's sister, Bailey, is not amused.
