I was looking around on craigslist today... entered the search WoW in games... if you bought all the accounts on there you would pay $7310 for them. A few of them even have disclaimers...

"Disclaimer: If you are bidding on, inquiring about, or viewing this auction you are stating that you are in no way affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment or any associated entity. World of Warcraft is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment. All characters, items, gold, or other intellectual property in World of Warcraft are the sole property of Blizzard Entertainment. This auction is not for the ownership of their intellectual property, but rather for the time spent working on this account and acquiring items. All references to 'the character' and/or 'the account' are indicative of my time spent on leveling the aforementioned characters. "

This was for an account auction starting at $450. That's right whoever it is wants you to ignore the INTIRE premise of the whole damned game and pay him for being a lazy antisocial fuck. Seriously, if you buy this account I will have to beat your skull in for the sanity of all humanity... And I'm sure Blizzard really wouldn't mind me doing it either. Why? Because they want new accounts and people to ENJOY LEVELING their own character accounts.

$7310 of people saying, "pay me for making choices I can't afford"? Or jack asses demonstrating how pathetic Americans really are becoming with the instant gratification fix?

I have an account I have let idle for 4+ months now and like the fact that Blizzard keeps the records so if I do opt to start up again I can go back to grinding my way up like the game design docs said I should. If you want to play, play from the start. Otherwise I hope to god that they catch you being a cunt and kill your account.

lvl 28 tauren druid, and every kill is mine.
