Eee, all the best, Ni! *HUGS*

I thought I ought to make the effort (the last layout hadn't matched for a while) even though I'm pretty crapola when it comes to anything HTMLy or layouty. Simple things like icons and pictures seem to have a huge effect on my mood so it was time well spent. It suits me right now - fresh and clean!

You're so sweet. I hope for a good year for you, too - I know you have no expectations but my fingers are crossed anyway :x

I too lurve the layout. So fresh.

I also wiped sleep from my eyes, but because I left my eyemakeup on, I had sexy black crud I had to delicately dig out with my pinkie.

I am sure you are a fine artist. There are a few interesting books available for sketchers, including "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" which is about not overthinking while sketching. I would say the best thing to do is invest in a spiral bound sketch pad and a set of numbered pencils (2,4,6,8,B,F etc) and a white eraser. Tools!

Nice colours, I could do with a shirt with this print.

That's very glamorous! I don't wear mascara but the couple of times I have I've fallen asleep with it on and woke up feeling like a movie star. Even if I crashed out after a hard night of tv watching.

I can't draw things. I can doodle and do patterns and whatnot. Things would be nice. I'll hunt that book down! Also the pencils!

Lash curler + brush + wet black shadow + mascara= BIG BIG LOVE.

Yeah, you nailed it. I love waking up with big slutty hair and smudged eye make up. I did on Saturday and felt so glorious I could hardly bring myself to shower and wash it all away.

I forgot to add a nice clean sharpener to the art supply list.

See, yeah, I just can't do it. I can't put eyeliner on straight and the mascara always goes gluggy and splashes down underneath my eyes. I'm the eye equivalent of putting lipstick on outside the lip line. Plus there's the whole business of having to put contacts in which I find an enormous pain in the.

I'm sure you looked glorious indeed, I can just picture it. You should have taken some self portraits, pretended to be a starlet!

Sharpener, added.

Your new layout wee birdy = cute!

The local grocers places labels on all avocados indicating either RIPE! or NOT RIPE! (for those who had doubts as to the alternatives to ripe).

To learn to draw: observe, imagine, draw, repeat until own style develops. Revel in excuse to buy nice pens from art shop.

Ha, I know! The little birdy just floats around, popping up and saying 'hello!' when one least expects it.

Hmm. I think this must be a reaction to the customers squeezing la avocado. I think I've seen pamphlets/signs beside the avocado stock explaining how to determine the ripeness of an avo from the skin colour - 'squeezing not necessary!' Obviously that wasn't working.

Thanks for the tips. Nice pens is the obvious perk of this resolution.
