What Cheer!

Yesterday sucked arse like a big arse sucking thing, so! I have decided to take karma into my own hands.

Here are:

-> My photos from the Belle & Sebastian show @ The Barbican 25/9/05. I was going to post these in honour of the show being released on iTunes … but it looks like it will be a long time coming here. However, it is available from the UK and US stores and, in its favour, a) it was a good show b) all monies go to the Asia Quake Appeal c) girlinthe_snow says it sounds damn fine.

For Michelle!

If someone says, Who is Stuart Murdoch? you say, This Is Stuart Murdoch.

Aha, mid-bounce!

Mick in a Mick-shirt. Love.

Stevie! With one of those pipe organ things ... shit, what are they called? Also, typical boy fan in foreground (shaggy hair & jacket, yo).

Note that Stuart is wearing the Fox in the Snow t-shirt. (& he walked on with a very snappy blazer but removed before I was savvy enough to take a pic. Le sigh)

Boy with the Arab Strap. Of course!

Sarah, love. BwtAS again.

Rawk concert.

Hmm, I also took a picture during If You're Feeling Sinister to demonstrate that Stuart does not know the words, still. But I cannae find it.

eee, bittersweet night. My last in London.

-> Some happy trackies.
In the last 24 hours I have received two comments for Wandering, Gets You Down, which is … unexpected but delightful. So an upload of The Boy With The Arab Strap, the song behind it all. Special live version with stuff-ups because they wouldn't be the band I/we love without that. For darling narie of course.

And for a dose of Christmas spirit, B&S doing The Twelve Days of Christmas, my favooooourite carol when I was a little one. You can't not smile listening to this version - it's true! Now I want to get really drunk and see how badly I sing it.

Both are from a Peel Session, awww :(

-> A link to some very beautiful amazing pictures by kasche for beautiful amazing spacedye_vest's birthday. Oh, polaroids! I've been taking about two a day - theshoesis and me are keeping photo/scrapbook to document the summer, after which we will keep a photo/scrapbook to document the winter. But she tells me that production of one variety of polaroid film is going to cease next year, and the rest could quickly follow. How can this be? Is this not a travesty? What would the world be without polaroids?

Say it isn't so!

please tell me if the linkies aren't working

gratuitous pretty, musique, b&s, pimpin'
