I wasn't around either, but I have the feeling there was a stampede - I could be wrong. As I also discovered the fandom after OotP maybe I am being self-centred ("of course everyone saw it after OotP ... "). I read the book and was just crushed, as the R/S bits were slipping into place for me (I had flirted with them before. The bits), and then 'wtf? that cannot be the end!' I was miserable and it was therapeutic for me to find that people were writing stuff that showed how much they cared for one another etc. I mean, all my friends read Harry and my flatmate read it and I kept saying, I'm in shock about something, let me know when you're done. And a day or so later I asked where she was up to:

- Dumbledore's explaining to Harry
- OMG so Sirius has died! How traumatised are you?
- It was sad.
- But Remus and Harry are all alone now! It's TERRIBLE.
- Yeah, I suppose so.

This time I was sort of ashamed to get on LJ and find that everyone was dealing with the new canon. But it was entirely reassuring - you lot are damn good whereas I tend to panic. But that's so understandable, and I think everyone is entitled to a whinge before they get themselves together. Stages of grieving and people are entitled to feel how they feel.

The rxs people are cute. They're putting on a brave face but you can tell they're scurrying around with buckets.

The tart! Oh it was tartastic and oh so creamy.
