Just having a chit-chat with flatmates around the table when this bit of info was thrown in:
Metropolitan Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Brian Paddick is gay.
It gives me hope that the guy representing the Met at all these press conferences also wears a pink t-shirt (literally - seen by flatmate) at Pride marches.
Seriously, this made my night (and it was a good night).
