(no subject)
another show has come and gone. antigone was a relative success, despite our lack of run-throughs. the costumes, which were mere squares of fabric that we wrapped around ourselves and tied in the back (think toga), actually worked and, if i do say so myself, didn't look half bad.
i broke up with my boyfriend. that gave the week a unique spin. but i'm feeling a lot better now than i had been feeling for awhile, so it was a good decision. he's probably reading this right now, so i'll refrain from going into any detail. i'll just say that it was quite magical for a while, and then the spark was lost. that was my first experience with losing a spark. not fun.
but my friends here have all been really supportive. they let me talk their ears off, and are now managing to take up all my free time. all this week they've been kidnapping me and taking me to movies and dinner and such. thanks to chris for the life aquatic - i am now in love with that movie - and to the girls of antigone who are so much fun to hang out with.
*sighs* everything seems right again
but enough of that. i'm about to hand my life over to the department show of marat/sade because i'm on the costume crew. and then i have a concert - Mahler's 9th symphony.
