I can agree with singsilverlight and mmm_jillicious, I definitely went without full consideration of where I was going. Then again, I decided after a campus welcome day, when I fell in love with Ann Arbor (but then again, my choices were AA, Cleveland, or CP, so take it for what its worth). The students seemed nice too, but then again I was hosted overnight by a guy who chose UM over Dartmouth and Yale (for the money, probably) so my opinion of the students was skewed. Turns out most of the students are rich morons whose parents could have afforded the top schools but their kids couldn't cut it, so they went to "the Harvard of the Midwest". huh.

Apologies for my ranting. Make your decision after visiting the campus and meeting students (as singsilverlight said). Sit in on some classes if you can (DEFINITELY do this for Gallaudet) to get a feel for the professors. Also, think long and hard about the benefits versus the risks of Gallaudet, esp. with the problems they have been having recently with accreditation.

All in all, congratulations! I know Gallaudet is your top choice, and I'm glad you have the ability to pick the school that suits you best!

We need to talk sometime, lovie.

-Philip
