I made this icon AGES ago, so if any of these steps belong to you (from a tutorial) then please le me know - it’s not intentional so please don’t think I’m trying to steal or anything! Also the outcome turns out different to the original - not that much though. The original is just a little more darker/contrast

01. Do whatever it is you normally do to prepare your base; crop, sharpen - ect. I don’t sharpen. I only do at the end & only if the icon needs it. So here’s my base:

02. Duplicate your base once and set it to SCREEN @ 100%.

03. Create a curves new adjustment layer, and use the following settings (keeping in mind that not all settings will work for every picture)

RBG:
First Point: 201, 230
Second Point: 233, 255

Set this to SCREEN @ 70%

04. Create another curves new adjustment layer, and use the following settings:

RBG:
First Pont: 20, 0
Second Point: 65, 46
Third Point: 137, 124

RED:
First Pont: 90, 11
Second Point: 120, 150

GREEN:
First Point: 90, 120
Second Point: 200, 255

BLUE:
First Point: 9, 0
Second Point: 50, 109
Third Point: 90, 160

Set this to SOFT LIGHT @ 60%

05. Create a selective colour new adjustment layer, with the following settings:

REDs:
Cyan: -20
Yellow: +30

NEUTRALS:
Cyan: +40
Yellow: -30

06. Create a selective colour new adjustment layer, with the following settings:

REDS:
Cyan: +13
Yellow: +21

NEUTRALS:
Cyan: +30
Yellow: -25

07. Create a selective colour new adjustment layer, with the following settings:

REDS:
Cyan: -100
Yellow: +40

YELLOWS:
Cyan: -36
Yellow: +50

NEUTRALS
Cyan: +20
Magenta: +5
Yellow: -20

08. Create a selective colour new adjustment layer, with the following settings:

REDS:
Cyan: +7
Magenta: -2

NEUTRALS:
Magenta: -6

Lower the opacity to 60%.

Done. Hope it helped :) & again I am SO SORRY if these steps belong to you. I have a terrible memory & can never remember what tutorial I used for certain icons I made. Please let me know & I will credit you for the steps/or take the tutorial down if you wish.
