1. WHAT IS THE FURTHEST PLACE YOU HAVE EVER TRAVELED?
I’ve been to a couple of the islands in southern Japan to attend some of the large independent movie festivals down there.
2. HOW DO YOU RELAX?
It’s kinda odd, but I feel relaxed in the equipment room. I like cleaning my gadgets and taking care of them.
3. IF YOU COULD TURN BACK TIME, WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE?
Recording movies is similar to turning back time. It gives you an opportunity to relive the past whenever you want. You can’t change what happened though. I’m a big believer in fate. I think that if you change the past, then you would change the paths you took, completely changing your future. I wouldn’t change anything.
4. ARE YOU SUPERSTITIOUS?
I am very superstitious. I won’t sit at the table at a student council meeting if there are twelve people already sitting there because I’ll be too worried over who the first of the thirteen to get up, determining their unfortunate fate.
5. WHAT ARE YOU ADDICTED TO?
I would have to say I’m addicted to filming and capturing the moment. I love being Toriyama-dono’s right-hand man, too. It gives me power without being overwhelming.
6. ARE YOU SHY AROUND THE OPPOSITE SEX?
If turning beet red, stuttering, and bloody noses means anything, then I am definitely shy around girls.
7. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DIE?
When a person dies, they lose their connection to the world. Their soul can still retain that connection as long as they are remembered by those still alive. The beauty of recording is it traps a piece of your soul forever. You will be remembered as long as the film exist, therefore always connected to this world.
8. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
I’m a pretty happy-go-lucky person. I always keep the task at hand in mind, and I am the hardest worker that I can pose to be. I’m a leader in a follower’s position, willing and able to support those I believe in.
9. WHAT WOULD YOU WANT YOUR FRIENDS TO REMEMBER ABOUT YOU?
I would want my dedication to be remembered and carried on by those who knew me. A little goes a long way, and I would want them to realize this and cherish the idea.
10. NAME ONE PERSON YOU WOULD DIE FOR NO MATTER WHAT.
It is not who many people would assume. I would die for my sister Hana, no matter what. I feel like it is my responsibility to see that she is well. I’m like her caretaker
11. ARE YOU SINGLE OR DATING AND IF SINGLE DO YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON SOMEONE?
I am single…oh wait. After almost killing Yu Ling Tai by running her over on my bike, I somehow ended up in one particular situation. She calls me her boyfriend, but I feel like I was trick into this position. I do not like Yu Ling like that, I’m just not sure how to tell her, seeing as I completely missed seeing this relationship coming.
12. WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO BE ALONE?
I like to be alone when I’m in the equipment room. Editing film takes a lot of concentration and I don’t want to have to worry about the well-being of my toys.
13. DO YOU HAVE A FUNCTIONAL FAMILY?
I thought I did. Then I found out that my brother was adopted and my sister is actually my half-sister. The divorce kinda helped to do the functional part in.
14. WHAT IS THE BEST ACCOMPLISHMENT YOU HAVE ACHIEVED SO FAR?
I consider my position as Toriyama-dono’s assistant a great achievement. Imagine where I would be in this school without him.
15. DO YOU SEE THE GLASS HALF-EMPTY OR HALF-FULL?
I’m a pretty optimistic person. I can usually see the sun shining through the rain.
16. HAVE YOU EVER TOLD SOMEONE YOU HATED THEM?
I don’t think so. I hope not because I wouldn’t have meant it. I can’t hate people.
17. NAME ONE PERSON YOU WANT TO SEE RIGHT NOW.
I want to see Toriyama-dono. I need to speak to him about my situation with Yu Ling Tai.
18. WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND?
I’m still trying to piece together the events of the day I ran into Yu Ling. Was there something I could’ve done to avoid this state of affairs?
19. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD?
I love curry. I’m also a fan of bean paste.
20. IF YOU COULD BE AN ANIMAL, WHICH ONE? WHY?
I would be a hawk because they see everything from above. They are so observant, too. They are not as timid as me either which would be fun to experience.
21. WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO BE VERY RICH OR FIND YOUR TRUE LOVE?
I find this question kinda hard. Money is power in this world. To be poor is to suffer. However, love is supposed to be the greatest of feelings. I would love to experience it. Then again, money is known to be the nail on the coffin of a relationship. I would say that I would want to have a secure well paying job and then find my true love. That way, I get both.
22. WHAT HURTS THE MOST: PHYSICAL OR EMOTIONAL PAIN?
The pain felt by physical or emotional pain differs depending on the person. You are either strong physically or emotionally. If you are strong in neither, you will be destroyed early on. For me, I have undergone a lot of physical pain. Some of it was from the days when I was picked on, some from my twin sisters. The rest came from my clumsiness. I’ve never really experienced emotional pain though. I’ve undergone emotional strange during my parent’s divorce, but nothing like the type of emotional pain Toriyama-dono inflicts during his punishment. I’ve never had some tear my mind apart, and for that reason, I would have to say emotional would probably hurt more.
23. WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF A HEARTBREAKER/PLAYER?
I don’t consider myself a heartbreaker or a player. I’ve never really been in a relationship before, so I really didn’t have the chance. Seeing how hard it is to get myself out of this circumstance with Yu Ling, I don’t think I could handle being a player because I couldn’t break the girl’s heart.
24. IF YOU WERE STRANDED ON AN ISLAND, WHAT THREE THINGS BESIDES FOOD AND WATER WOULD YOU BRING?
I wish this question was more specific. Exactly how long would I be on this island because the time limit would definitely change what I would bring? Generically, I would bring a camera with even supply to last for the trip. Second, I would bring something for shelter. Last, I would probably bring along a friend so I won’t go crazy in isolation.
25. DO YOU TRUST PEOPLE EASILY?
I do trust people. I think trust is something which must be established between two people upon acquaintance. Depending on how they treat my trust would depend on how much trust I give them.
26. DO YOU COLLECT ANYTHING? IF SO, WHAT?
I collect film equipment. It began as my dad’s collection, and I have been rapidly expanding it. I like both new and old equipment. It’s interesting discovering how each different piece works.
27. DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF TOLERANT OF OTHERS?
I am tolerant of others. I’m not as aggressive as Toriyama-dono who’ll lose patience quickly. There is a line they cannot cross though.
28. ARE YOU PASSIVE OR AGGRESSIVE?
I’m definitely passive. I’m not one for the ambitious drive, however much I am determined.
29. CHOOSE A STEROTYPE THAT BEST DESCRIBES YOU.
I guess I’m sort of the nerd because I know so much about electronics.
30. IN THE OPPOSITE SEX, WOULD YOU RATHER THEM BE INDEPENDENT OR DEPENDENT?
I don’t know. I’ve never experienced either so I’m not sure what would happen.
31. CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?
The point of a secret is to not spread it around. I would definitely keep a secret. Now if the secret endangered someone’s life, I don’t know if I could keep it quiet.
32. WHAT WAS THE WORST TROUBLE YOU HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF INTO?
Being Toriyama-dono’s assistant, I pick up his enemies. When he’s not in control, I became a target again.
33. WHAT TWO WORDS BEST DESCRIBE YOU?
Devoted describes me because it is my passion and way of life. I guess short would be another one since it is the first physical feature people tend to notice.
34. WHAT TURNS YOU ON? OFF?
Wha-what?! If this is meant sexually, I cannot answer this! That is private information!
35. IF YOU WERE CHEATED ON, WOULD YOU GIVE THAT PERSON A SECOND CHANCE?
I don’t think I could, if I really really liked them. If their feelings waiver enough for them to do something like cheat, then they really do not like me, do they?
36. WHAT IS SOMETHING WEIRD ABOUT YOURSELF?
I put Toriyama-dono before myself. It goes back to my devotion. I put tasks first, so as an assistant, Toriyama-dono comes first.
37. WHAT NOISE CAN YOU NOT STAND?
I do not like grinding metal, such as machinery rubbing against each other with that screeching noise. I also don’t like feedback, you know, the high pitch noise you hear when a microphone gets too close to the speaker.
38. IF YOU WERE IN A FIGHT, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR WEAPON OF CHOICE?
I’d rather prefer not to be in a fight altogether!
39. WOULD YOU SELL YOUR SOUL IF YOU COULD OBTAIN THE THING YOU MOST DESIRE?
I would never sell my soul! That’s just creepy.
40. WHAT WOULD YOU WANT YOUR LAST DYING WORDS TO BE?
This is something I would prefer not to think about until I’m on my death bed. Planning ahead this early is just being negative.
