What the hell is wrong with me?
Ok, I was watching 'The Last Man' which has Sheppard in Atlantis in the future, when the whole planet is a desert, and I remembered the scene in Generation Kill where Brad is standing and there is an explosion and my brain went 'OMG, Sheppard/Colbert' and idk, I just had to, ok? The crazy marches on. :D
So Atlantis begins in 2004, OIF ended in 2003. Sheppard sent to Antarctica after the failed Holland rescue mission (probably, it might have been the one with the med team). Sheppard probably at McMurdo for 6-8 months or more before Carson fired the drone. Colbert joined Royal Marines after OIF, but idk when exactly. Several months probably. So, overlap, John is all broken and hurty in CA after hearing, Brad is there after OIF, both knew each other in Afghanistan peripherally. Soooo, surfing, beer, for a month? Two? Yeah. Later, (2007? Outcast, season four) John comes back to CA on vacation, reconnects with Brad. Brad did Royal Marines thing, idk what he did/does after, I don't really care. Makes mention of Project Bluebook, at like a bar/bbq thing reunion of Bravo Company. Several say have been approached but didn't take it, thought it was stupid guard the civilian thing. Blah blah, they go to Atlantis, shiny lights, fight the wraith, hook up, McKay freaks out, Ronon and Brad are like BFF's, teaches sword thing. They're all awesome-sauce, live happily ever after. The End.
