You know, that was my initial thought, too. Then I thought that, from a metaphorical point of view, Koyasu's Insanity was actually the main character. But if we're going more a traditional route, I, too, would say four main characters.
I think if I had to choose just one, I'd say Aya is the main character, because although they all have features, Aya is the one the series revolves around. He has the most comprehensive timeline, and there's no part of the series without him unless you're counting the Schwarz drama CDs.
IIIII wouldn't say Omi's the main character, by any means.
Firstly, he's not in the majority of the drama CDs. Yes, he's in Gluhen more than Youji and Ken, but they have more dCDs and Ken is in Side B, where Omi isn't. Also, you have to take into account the Crashers timelines, and the fact that the manga traces Ran's story, not anyone else's. I think Omi winds up being more essential to the plot than the others because of the connection with his family... but that's still only a plot point because of Aya and Ran.
