So this is Christmas
Wishing any and all a happy holiday, be it Christmas, Solstice, Hanukkah or other celebration.
I'd like to thank SciFi_Sara and PSUbrat for the virtual LJ gifts and time :), fraidycatx3 and rosemary_ca for the ecards, and baensidhe and yellow_freshia for the RL cards. I sincerely enjoyed each and every one of them.
I'd also like to take a moment to wish mints4friends a very happy belated birthday, and baensidhe a happy (on time) birthday.
I am currently at work, having the distinct privilege of working that sought-after shift of 1am - 9:30am on Christmas Day. I even managed to score the same shift for Boxing Day, New Years Eve and yes, even New Years Day, not to mention the weekends. My cup runneth over ;) .
Thus far, One (1) errant call.
Considering that I'm fielding calls from Europe / specifically Germany.. the lack of calls is not too surprising.. Germans take their holiday quite seriously.
I do get two days off in the middle of the week.. so I'm planning on going to Dave & Busters on Wednesday afternoon / evening with rosemary_ca, assetic and her boyfriend Obi / James. Anybody want to join us?
Thursday, I hope to be able to go to rosemary_ca for her movie afternoon, perchance even getting a room at the Staybridge to Stay over.
And thus.. to all a good nite... while I keep watch over the phones ;)
