XD Fair enough. I tried to pick a character from the anime that you might know, but nowadays even if you are familiar with the anime she might not register.
Tom was dropped off screen. Martha was just...dude, I would be in that polyamorous relationship for the chance to get to know Martha. She was and is one of the best.
And Sheik probably wouldn't make the easiest long term partner, so sticking to hand holding is probably best :D
How is White, btw? I haven't been able to justify to myself spending the money on it quite yet.
^-^ Donna beats out Martha as my favorite companion. Not by much, and mostly because she's the only platonic companion Ten ever had. And a poly relationship would at least explain what happened to Tom - we never did get any explanation for why Martha was suddenly off with Mickey. No point in sending both of your doctors onto the front line after Sontarons, right?
He would. He so totally would. And no one deserves to be second best to another woman in any relationship.
Wow - actual human characters in a Pokemon game? XD I've played most every one since Blue, and that is not something I've come to expect to see.
Rose was good until the show started obsessing over her. And the fandom. The Rosefe are just, just wow. People are still trying to ship her with Eleven. Who I'm fine not shipping with anyone, because it means more room for Ami/Rory. And have I mentioned how happy I am that Amy/Rory is happening? This is a good, good thing for this show.
*contemplates* Zelda would probably be more open to it than Sheik would.
I kinda vacillate back and forth on the OT3ness of 11 and Amy and Rory. I could so totally see it happening, but at the same time I'm just kind of basking in the glory that is a non-Doctor related ship being allowed to exist on this show. Can you tell I pretty much don't miss RTD either? And not just because with his departure we probably thankfully see the last of Rose.
I guess it's a matter of conflicting Zelda canons. The only one I'm even remotely familiar with is the original "Legend of Zelda" and "Windwaker", where Zelda spends half of it masquerading as a pirate. So I tend to think of her as the more rebellious princess type.
"Children of Earth" is what did it for most people. Even my mother, who had never seen the show until that point, swore off RTD as a storyteller after "Children of Earth". That was when he told his fans to, and I paraphrase, go off and watch Supernatural if they couldn't handle a dark storyline. And if you've seen even one episode of Supernatural, you know how ridiculous that is.
She didn't? We never did finish that one, unfortunately.
I have heard the theories that Zelda and Sheik are one in the same. You can probably thank "Super Smash Brothers" for keeping that rumor going for so long.
Oh, it won't be The Jack and Gwen Show. It'll be "The Jack and Gwen Plus the FBI Mulder and Scully Wannabe Replacements for the Decimated Casts Show". Honestly, I'm not sure which one's worse by now...
Melee was when they first introduced Zelda as a character, right? And did Sheik even make an appearance in Twilight Princess? I didn't think Zelda had enough screen time in that game for there to be that kind of connection.
Well, it would have been nice to have her in Twilight Princess. But that just makes the resultant wank even more depressing. Like, c'mon, people, the developers literally fiated that Sheik does not appear in the game, there can be no connection to Zelda unless you break from canon.

Let's say...Martha Jones, Sheik, and Misty of original Pokemon fame.
