How to make everyday life seem so boring

Aug 23, 2004 04:12

I'm watching probably one of the worst "day-in-the-life" of movies I've seen in my entire life.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0236474/

It reels you in fairly decently, up until you get to the latter parts where yknow, it dwelves deeper in the lives of the supporting characters. What you realize then that this is a "day-in-the-life" movie with seemingly no drive or purpose. Things happen to Zelda and Natali, two best friends, as they go about their separate lives. Zelda is a mom and part of these Margarita-guzzling group of friends while Natali, well, Natali's pretty boring.

What I mean by drive is the fact that these characters seem to just be single moms. Zelda's an artist, but that's mainly that. Whoopee. She has a nice chest, but that was pretty much the O_O point for me in the movie. The scenes hop from one scene to another, inanely, until one of the characters makes a reference to the title in the movie (i.e. "Happy hour ended a long time ago, honey." >_<). Ugh.

Why I'm still watching this is beyond me. Maybe I'm still trying to find the plot. Maybe it's because G4TechTV doesn't have anything on. Or maybe I want to prove the idea that the movie really does have Strong Sexual Content and Nudity (it only says that there's Adult Situations on there, not nudity).

Whatever the reason, this movie has made everyday life so ... lame.
