SELF-CENTERED PROMOTION
I'm pretty hyped- yesterday I did a little mix just under 70 minutes of music- and it's the best home-made "DJ" mix I've done so far. And the through the undergroundish small-scale party group in which I more or less belong in, I get to play it to the inner circle of people next friday.
I just cant decide- as that next friday is a small-scale thing to our group only, I'd kinda like to save this mix for some happening where there's more people. Then again, I can just play it again. :P
As I dont even own turntables, but make mixes on computer, I have to burn all the tracks on several cd's. Then I'll use the mixer there to change the tracks.
Actually, I'm not sure do I get to play it next friday. I dont know what kind of DJ's they/we decide to play, as I have my own peculiar ambient-ish style- perhaps it's supposed to be more dancier. Hell, perhaps I need to ask around.
Anyway- I'll upload the mix next week online along with the tracklisting, I'll try to keep it under 100 megs. Anyone interested can get the upload link by commenting here, and there's no time limit, I can upload it again if YOU happen to see this later and are interested to hear this. This mix, as I said, is technically the best I've made, and the style of music is pretty varied, as well the moods/ level of sound.
