My front-runners to take charge after fergie retires:
1st Roy Keane (Sunderland)
2nd Mark Hughes (Blackburn)
3rd Steve Coppell (Reading)
4th Jose Mourinho (Chelsea)
5th Carlos Queiroz (Asst Manager at United)
The why:
Roy Keane: Took over Sunderland after 4 defeats in their opening matches and now currently sits on top of the Championship League to gain an automatic berth in the EPL next season. This is his first club in charge since retiring as a player last year. Former United player, therefore, better knowledge of how things are run in United. Been a fan of him since the start. Him punching a guy in the face after getting his shirt pulled made me like him more. The best candidate, eventhough he doesn't have any European games under his belt as of yet.
Mark Hughes: Nearly brought Wales international team to Euro 2004 or was that WC 2006 (i'll edit this later). Able to manage players well, protects them. Managing a team destined for mid-table (sod off blackburn fans) and getting the wins where it counts. Even managed to beat United twice last season. A keen eye for good players, a plus for getting good players young and established for United. Ex-United player. Current likeness in present United team: Alan Smith (i.e. Toughman and hassles defenders when they have the ball).
Steve Coppell: Verdict is still out, but currently 9th on the table with 5 games left but with not so much of a points difference for him to steer his team to a Uefa Cup spot. Team plays with flair (not up to United standards, but who is, LAWLZ!) and a good sign, meaning, with better players, Steve can show us spectacular games every match. Ex-United player nuff said.
Jose Mourinho: (boo! hiss!) Fuck, I hate him, but he is good. He brings a winning mentality to a team. It may be the cause for concern that he's just lucky to have Roman as his sugar daddy, but, people forget that he took Porto to the finals of the UCL, a team that was not a favourite at all. Though, the players seem to fall down a lot dontcher think?
Carlos Queiroz: Just the fact that he speaks every language in the world and that he's learning from Fergie. The fact that he is like a father to CR is key for Ronaldo to stay at United.
Yeah, I am an insomniac, haven't slept the whole night woot! was bored.
