Another day, another night of a tidy bed (though, in my case its never tidy, lawlz!). Can't seem to get that much wanted sleep I have been craving the past few weeks or so. Thank God I have "Dirt" as company. Very in your face type of story, which you would expect from a show thats based in tinseltown (that's what its called right? hollywood). If you didn't know, it stars courteney cox as an Editor in Chief for a magazine called DRRT. Which reports on the scandals in hollywood, with fictional hollywood superstars. Fun watch, not everybodys cuppa tea, but I usually watch the weird-weird ones, or something that might not suit me. For example, I declare that Desperate Housewives is one of the greatest shows around. Its like a whodunnit kinda show, in the sense of "Murder she wrote" (which for me was a great show too; now you know), but it expands to a whole season. Suspense. Thriller. Whatever (I use this word too bloody much).
TV shows reached their peak in the 80's. Something in the vein of rock bands peaked in the 90's, now, we have to really pick and choose which are the posers and not. After the 80's, TV shows didn't actually intrigued me much. There were a few diamonds. Thats it. Same as cartoons, we had, Thundercats, Voltron, M.A.S.K., Transformers (to a certain extent GoBots), Saber Rider and the Star Sherriffs, G-Force (aka Gatchaman; which btw is coming out with a cinematic release soon!), Starcom, Centurions, Care Bears (JEYEAH!) and many more. The only cartoons I like nowadays are the Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Dexter's Laboratory, PPG and Samurai Jack. Thats it, nothing of much interest. Maybe the reason why I resort to anime, which in turn has become too saturated and now I only watch animes with not more than 26 episodes. E.g. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. You guys should go search for a youtube version of the dance played on that show "Hare Hare Yukai", its a damn phenomenon. Try and check out the stop motion version. :D
