DILLINGER WAS SO AWESOME!!!!! That was the coolest effing show I have ever seen. Me, Roman, and Greg got there right for dillingers set and greg pushed up all the way to the front. They opened with Panasonic Youth and I started flipping out already. haha Chris pennie looked at me while he was drumming and I was like YOU FUCKING ROCK MAN! and he started laughing.
It was pretty hectic and it was cool cause it was a small venue. Then greg was like this is an old song and something to the effect of lets show the new kids how its done. And he ran into the fucking crowd when the song kicked in like the way people run into the water at the beach, it was nuts. Then in heavy part after the girl screams I jumped on stage and started grind coreing but when i went to jump off i felt bad cause the kid below me was like terrified so I just crowd surfed after i plopped down lol. The guitarist Ben Weinman fell off his amp at the end of one of the songs and like killed chri pennie's drumset. it was so funny he wsa like stuck between his amp and the collapsed cymbal stands. so the roadies fixed it while the band played so fresh and so clean by Outkast.
wow they played crazy shit like The Running Board and Destro's Secret both fucking CRAZY. The pit went crazy. And they played Sandbox magician. But then came the ever respected 43% burnt. It was so nuts I had to go in the pit after the breakdown. And then i was grind coreing my ass of but i nailed someone with my elbow and it got swollen for the rest of the night lol. Also someone landed on Roman and broke his glasses. Oh man and the end slam for We Are The Storm was nuts. they all stood there and the lights dimmed and they just went into it. It was soo heavy. I was going so nuts I was like grindcoreing hardcore for that and The Perfect Design which was more grind core than grind core.
Then of course the much awaited closing with sugar-coated sour. It was mucho mucho crazy and greg jumped on stage with all these kids and they were all singing and they all collapsed off stage.
Ben weinman is the craziest mother fucker ever. He was hopping of the amps and shit and then he would run onto the monitors and like go ape shit and do his crazy freak out grindcore with guitar thing and he looked like a maniac. Same with chris pennie. He is the man he was drumming so fast. At the end of their set Chris Pennie fucking beamed the drumstick into the audience so hard it was hilarious. Then he demolished his drumset along with the band. Afterwards I ran on the stage and stole his drumstick that he used for the show. I felt very good lol.
