CONNECTIONS SHOW
I had the show at connections with my odd hours and akora bands. It was a lot of fun. we almost got lost on the way there with like twenty minutes till odd hours went on. WE went on on and blasted through our set. Many micropohone problems. We had a little joke song: Toxic by Brittney Spears. We got good responses for our new song Nova. Then we ended with Breathe by prodigy and cody sang in it. IT was a lot of fun.
Afterwards it was Akora time and i told the sound guy i was the same drummer so everything could stay the same. I drank water and rested while torres and turner set up. It wasnt as bad as everyine predicted. the ventilation was good and i barely broke a sweat during the Odd Hours set. Eventually during Akoras set i started to get hot especially during Flight of the Monarch, our heaviest song where i have blast beats and shit. Cody gave the band little hula necklaces and through confetti so him and torres could celebrate and kiss their Girlfriends for their anniversaries.
Then we played Potrait and i put on a fake old scalp with nappy hair so i could headbang with it through out the song. Cody was cracking up i was hoping it would inhibit his singing haha.
Afterwards Sellout played and me and alan stuck around to see them as well as cody and Al. Me and alan were buggin out. I commenced the violent dancing by doing the signature Cookie monster violent cookie eating dance. Then i started doing my cartwheel into violent dance thing and the pits started going. Sellout opened with Backbone I like the song cause its the one i know the best haha. Me and alan were destroying eachother. Then this really buff kid was like trashing everyone and he hurt my rib. Him and AL were like dueling HAHAAHA and then al fell. Allison and Vicky were there and they said they missed us cause they were in traffic. I was like " IM in TWO bands back to back and you missed BOTH!!!"
So i had fun watching sellout they are f ing awesome Mad props to Bob, Don Ryan, Danny and Juan. GOod stuff. Before i left i made a little money from the show and we got lost on the way home which was interesting.
