It's been a while
Wow...it has been 26 weeks since my last comment, and probably even longer since my last post. Me writing is poorer than usual, so please be mindful of this engineer who has avoided any contact with literature or reading for that matter. Lately, I've been trying to keep contact with everyone, and its soooo hard =(. Even with the vast technological innovations/distraction of aim, keeping track of people sometimes gets difficult. Especially with people you usually dont talk to but would like to keep in touch. What can i say, i'm just hopelessly hopeful. On the bright side, I've grounded myself here at Cal, with a fellowship and lots of new faces. SO MANY PEOPLE. people from New Jersey, D.C., China? On the subject of Chinese, two weeks ago, me and my two of my floormates went to this Shanghai restaurant to eat lunch (lunch special...yeah...we're cheap like that =D) and since one was a Viet and the other was Canto, they were expecting me to communicate with the waitress. Let's say the dialogue wasn't as linguistically accurate as I was expecting it to be. The facial expresssion of the waitress was on the border of distress and nausea as garbage continued to pour out of my mouth. But that was exactly what i was doing, mouthing an unknown dialect of Chingalish that not only puzzled both my floormates but ended with the wrong food order -___-. Oh how i shame my parents. Not only will they not recognize me cuz of my extremely long hair, but they will won't understand me =(...i shall surely be disowned. lol...anyways I'm not even sure why i'm writing on LJ haha. I guess i'm bored of school and all the pointless studying i've been doing O_O. Well, i'm still alive...alive and numb. I can't wait for thanksgiving =)
