Recently I find that parents can be very confusing.  They want the best for you, yet they want you to want the best for yourself...which are usually conflicting at times.  So anyways...it seems that i'm now bound for UCI -___-...they seem to fear the competition that is

you shouldn't let your parents choose your college for you dinggg. ultimately, you have to choose what's best for YOU, because you're going to be the one going there for 4+ years and you have to be happy there. :] if you think you can handle the course load, then go for it! :D

i agree with breanne about the whole not letting your parents dictate your future

and hey! pretty much all the "geniuses" that got into UCLA from rowland are ______________________________ all planning to end up somewhere "better" like at bekeley or on the east coast anyway. so they wont be killing any curves around here anytime soon.

and not ALL classes in higher education are based on such a strict "curve." some of the best medical schools are turning to the pass/fail system to encourage their students to actually help each other learn, so dont give up! :]
