A day in a life...

...maybe mine.

Its been a while since I've had the time to post. Life is very different as it was a few months ago. For those who thought I was busy before and didn't get much time to see them. Well I'm even busier now and a lot further away than before.

Heaven knows why I left my rather glamoruous office job and go full time in the field. I'm only just finding my feet and enjoying it a little more. Still very unsure where this is leaing to or if its just killing time. Being further away from anywhere it now tales me at least 45 minutes to get aywhere that is not North/West. I used to wake up wheneer and wonder into work whenever. Now I have to be at a diffeernt pace each day at different times. Running around so much its preferable to start early and finish early to beat the peak traffic. Its a bit of a falacy though, its always peak in Sydney. At the moment I'm looking after a project in North Sydney for 3 weeks. Up at 6am and out by 6.30am for a 7am start. Luckily at this time of morning it takes 30 minutes on the motorway. My job is vey unglamorous these days. No more coffee meetings and long lunches. Its all about gettiing to a site, doing the job and get out. Up ladders an cherry pickers, ducking in and out of roofs and cielings, multimeters and crimping tools, power drills and wire strippers. You name it and I probably carry it in my car.

Although it does consume me at the moment its not all that bad. I'm just a little frustrated not being at the top of the ladder. Gimme 6 months or so and I'll be running the show again.

Things at home are great though. We really love living where we do. The nieghbours are nice and its generally peaceful. We're on a slightly busy road so we can hear traffic when we're outside. Fortunatey its winter so the grass has not grown since I last cut it two months ago. Dread to think how fast it will grow in summer. I've managed to move only a small portion of my bonsais home. Most are still at the oldies house.

On that note, there are going to be some hage changes to happening soon. Dad just got a transfer up the coast so both the folk will be moving up there for good. This means shifting 30 years of crap from Sydney all the way up to the central coast. The transfer is a fream, moving house is not. I guess I have my own house now so I can store my own 30 years of crap.

The folks are in London hanging out with my lil' sis. From what I hear they had a ball touring Europe and still having a ball as I type.
