I need some comments on this if u have anythign to add on this plz tell me i need all the help i can get.
“For true greatness, the presence of others is required”, is an inspiring quote that can give people a sense of reality. This quote reminds people not to forget that they need the confidence of others to succeed. Perhaps, we get wrapped up our desires to achieve success, that sometimes we forget how important the help of is to us. People think they need to do it alone but the presence of others can lead them to greatness. “Greatness”, is something determined in our minds and spirit. It can mean many different things to people. To the President, greatness is maybe stopping terrorism. To a sports team, greatness can mean having a perfect season. To a marching band, greatness can mean making it all the way to finals. To me is being the best I can be and doing my best in everything I do, as a great person, musician and student.
My friends inspire me to become better and stronger. Without friends and other people encouraging you, people will never reach their goals. Besides, if they did achieve greatness and had no one to share it with, would it worth it to become great at all? One of my good friends, Chris Meserve, has helped me more than anyone else musically and spiritually. He inspired me to become a better person than who I was before I met him. Whether spending hours with me practicing my music for an upcoming audition or helping me with social and family problems, Chris has always been there to encourage me. He and my other friends, Nikki Tallon, Tarah Tobey, as well as a couple of my many great teachers, Brian Mitchell and Wiley Flanagin have had a tremendous influence on my life. They have taught me to not only rely on myself, but also to rely on the greatness of others to help me succeed my goal. They have also taught me to think about everything. They constantly want me to think for myself. They remind me that I have a mind, USE IT!
I have achieved many things in my life. Making honor bands, becoming a better leader, overcoming the death of family members, making the best of a bad situation are all things I have faced and succeeded. While I have accomplished these things, I could not have been successful without my friends and family members for guidance and support.
