Computer class is such a joke! I love having 1 crap class this semester. No one is paying attention, but the man is nice so occasionaly we all glance up and smile or nod at him. No wait, my friend Kory is paying attention in the front row--I must tell him he's wasting his time after class. Hmmm or maybe I could get him to tutor me in case I need it in here so I'll never have to pay attention because I tutored him in speech class last semester.
I miss forensics! While wasting time this week I searched for extemp. topics because I'm a dork. I miss the speaking high. I miss doing nothing but extemp all day long 2nd semester and then my happy practices with Mr. Boyd, the most amazing man in the world. I shall quit now because I think the pangs will get greater soon.
Jacob came to visit Emory yesterday! He was taken on the longest possible tour of the campus. I introduced him to 305 and Laur. It would be so much fun if he came here, but I will no peer pressure him into coming to Emory (I learned firsthand last year how that can back fire).
Now the professor is acting like a pastor and making up verses with computer terms. He just yelled, "Amen!" I love it.
My eye hurts! I'm sure Laur is sick of hearing me say this so I will complain to the world of Livejournal. I haven't worn my contacts all week and it still hurts. I hate my glasses! First, they're badly bent because I like to take naps in them-oops. Next, girls with chubby cheeks should not be expected to wear round glasses--simply an injustice.
Today is day devoted to studying. Yuck! I took yesterday off from all work after my test, but today I must prepare for tomorrow's test in U.S. Politics. Shew I wish I knew what the test was going to be about, but at least I get to go home tomorrow night!
Edit @ 1:11 p.m.: Best friend, Tabitha is on the front page of the Dickenson Star! Although I don't have the paper yet (slow delievery to Emory) I read the article online. Everyone needs to read it! Aww I'm so proud of her!
