Thanksgiving Break
This Thanksgiving Break I was thankful for:
*Party at Coach's/Total Hottness' house. Who knew Total Hottness lived at my professor's house!? I was pleasantly surprised and my break started out on the right foot!
*Sykies: I *heart* her! Getting to spend some QT with her was just what I needed.
*Visit to cheerleading practice. The girls looked good-almost ready for their season, I got to reminise lots, and caught up with Barb, whom I had missed SO much, she had even bought me a present that day and I happened to show up the same day!
*Dinner with The Crew and talks til 3 am (okay so none of us looked at the clock). Good for the soul!
*Time with Jacob-yes, I was even thankful for Jacob who came to "help me pack" before I left. I had missed him.
*Leaving for C-Ville on Wednesday night (we usually don't leave til Thursday morning).
*Hot tubbing before Thanksgiving dinner.
*LOTS of good food this year at Thanksgiving += chocolate covered strawberries, crossiants, turkey -= NO flambe.
*Watching my aunt Becky storm out of the movies. Okay, so I wasn't thankful for seeing THE WORST MOVIE EVER (Endless Love), but it was quite amusing watching Becky storm out and make lots of noise because she hated the movie so much she had to leave.
*Getting to hang out with and get along with Hunt-who is now 6'7 (but sucks at basketball--what a waste).
*The UVA pep rally outside our hotel where I did NOT clap.
*Good shopping on Black Friday.
*Tech winning! I went to the UVA/Tech game with Laur and her dad. We had AWESOME seats--man, there were tons of people! We had SO much fun! The drunk men beside us and heckling the UVA players (who we were right behind) was muchas fun-running after the game was not :-)
*Getting to see Glyn-I had missed him lots.
*Thanksgiving dinner at Mamaw's: playing with the kids and gossiping with Dana Janeen and Jeannie.
*Smuggling the REAL Christmas tree in the dorm (pictures to come as soon as Yahoo photos quits being homosexual).
