Note: This was my submission for hhr_ficathon. I'd forgotten all about it until I was reorganizing my tags earlier in an effort to get over a scene I'm having trouble with in one of my latest fics

It's quite pretty. It looks almost like a watercolor to my untrained art eyes. Hermione's hair may be a shade too red, but that's not a big deal. Harry looks like he's upset with her or the situation they're in. Actually, it's just that he looks intense and she looks concerned about something.

If you remember and don't mind sharing it, what was your prompt?

Well, hopefully, the watercolor effect isn't ruined too much by the changes I made on it since I posted it. I didn't realize her hair looked so red until someone else pointed it out. I'm really proud of the way Harry turned out despite the weird angle. :)

The promp was that they haven't seen each other for years and they meet while on vacation. I don't know how clear that is in the picture, though. ^^;

Oh, no, the effect isn't ruined at all. I wasn't sure if you were going for watercolor or not, but it's definitely there. And the red must've been my imagination, because it seems brown now. ;) Harry is quite good and that angle must've been difficult.

*shrugs* It makes sense now that you tell me. That's why she looks so surprised and he looks slightly distrustful.

I'm glad I was able to pull it off, then. :) I was worried that their expressions might not be clear enough.
