Two months, huh? I think we've broken our record. There really isn't any reason for the community to be this behind with the issue. Seeing as there's more than one mod, it really should've been updated ages ago. I do apologize for the lateness of the issue, though. Like the lovely calikalie has mentioned, we are looking for new people that will definitely update the community when none of the other mods are available, so we should have something announced by next week. I can't promise that the community will be updated every week, but I can guarantee that it won't be this much of a gab between updates. And yes, we are going to update weekly. So this issue will have everything between the 19-25th. Also, seeing as the community has been re-vamped, I was thinking of coming up with a new section for the issue. I have some ideas, but you guys are more than free to throw anything out there.

And before I forget, to all the Americans HHr'es out there, hope you guys had a terrific Thanksgiving day. And I really hope you guys had a huge piece of pumpkin pie to go with that dinner. ;)

News:

• crack_broom, the multi-ship reccing community has been re-opened, and are greatly in need of people to sign up to rec Harry/Hermione fics or fanart. If they don't get a number of people in the queue, they're going to add H/Hr back to a rare pairing section. I know the HP fandom has been taking a back burner lately, but c'mon now. We HHr fans are still out there, we just need to start showing it.
• Harmonics-Episode #2 is now available!
• H/Hr Christmas Ficathon 2006 is now underway! They're still looking for some writers so even if it's a small drabble you can write, just head over to the community and sign up. If you're not a writer but still want to get involved somehow, I'm sure they're pleanty of things you can do.

Chamber of Secrets

"I wish I knew why someone did try to chuck it," said Harry. "I wouldn't mind knowing how Riddle got an award for special services to Hogwarts either."
"Could've been anything," said Ron. "Maybe he got thirty O.WL.s or saved a teacher from the giant squid. Maybe he murdered Myrtle; that would've done everyone a favor .....“
But Harry could tell from the arrested look on Hermione’s face that she was thinking what he was thinking.
‘What?’ said Ron, looking from one to the other.
‘Well, the Chamber of Secrets was opened fifty years ago, wasn’t it?’ he said. ‘That’s what Malfoy said.’
‘Yeah …’ said Ron slowly.
‘And this diary is fifty years old,’ said Hermione, tapping it excitedly.
‘So?’
‘Oh, Ron, wake up,’ snapped Hermione. ‘We know the person who opened the Chamber last time was expelled fifty years ago. We know T. M. Riddle got an award for special services to the school fifty years ago. Well, what if Riddle got his special award for catching the Heir of Slytherin? His diary would probably tell us everything: where the Chamber is, and how to open it, and what sort of creature lives in it. The person who’s behind the attacks this time wouldn’t want that lying around, would they?’”
