Who while trying not to prove that I care
Trying not to make all my moves in one motion and scare her away.
A friendly touch. A hidden glance.
That's all he does. All that he lets himself do.
He keeps her in arm's length, because he silently fears.

It's all that he can show that's true.
Fear.

And feel like I matter too.
He watches them from a far.
Because he doesn't want to get in the way; in between.
He longs to treat her like a queen.
But he barely feels his spleen.
She leans forth, and so does he.
And it hurts him.
Jealousy.

You drive me crazy half the time
The other half I'm only trying to let you know
That what I feel is true.
She thinks it's just the War hurting him.
It affects him more than anyone because it is his fate.
It drives her to fix him. Like no one else can.
So she tries.
But he ignores her.
She is exasperated. He still ignores.
She clenches her teeth; she is itching to say
"I'm yours."

But you never even see me.
He remembers the moment.
The moment when she left.
But he is stubborn. He doesn't let her go.
He stands before her under the pouring rain;
Shoulders quaking with his inner-tremolos.
She is his desire; but she looks ahead.
It fills him with dread.
But he can't let her get away with things unsaid.
05. Fight For Love - Elliot Yamin
Cause you know that some people die for love
And I believe it's true cause I'd do the same for you
He watches her from where he stands.
She sheds her tears, she yells her anguish; her loss.
It's over. The War is done.
And so is he.
He is gone.
Reaching out, he touches her hand with his soul.
She feels him; remembers the moment when he saved her from the troll.
But he can't save her anymore.
Because he went through the final door.
When he fought for their love.
And for everyone's love.
Their love saved the world.
