Dr.s offices and the ER
Really, I have to get my son in to see a doc due to some issues he's having. I spend monday afternoon arguing with his PCP's office to see him so that I don't have to pay an arm and a leg to take him to the ER, and I arrange that they Will be paid on the 10th and not before.
THEN, I'm called and told he needs to come back in for a shot. Ok. I AGAIN state that I can't pay until the 10th and I'm told to get him in anyways.
Fine, we spend laundry money for both of us to get on the bus and guess what? They STILL want to refer him to the ER. Um... HELLO!
Thanks. I'll get him into the county health clinic to get him taken care of, as I REAAALLLYYYY don't want to be paying out of my ASS when I know where he can go get taken care of for free.
Fucking morons. I hate medical care in the good ol' US of A. Tax us up the ass, then can't even improve our schooling and medical. You have to go the ER, it's gonna cost you 500 fucking dollars because you can't pay the $150 at the time of visit when you walk into a normal docs office.
