O. M. G. I can't even! I thought it was like, 959 words when I saw this posted originally, and then I looked again and realized, no, somebody actually wrote me 9000+ words! *squeeflailbounce* I haven't actually read more than the first few paragraphs- a friend offered me a donut and I like to read something when I eat, so I checked out the opening with my donut.

And it was SO AMAZING that I was like, 'Oh, I have to get some KFC before I can read the rest of this!' (jsyk, that's like the highest honor a fic can have, KFC is at the top of the food hierarchy, only for awesome special things I know, I'm so weird, shut up)

Anyway, I'll obv reply in detail when I've read the bulk of this epic piece, but judging from the beginning? You have nothing to apologize for! I was like, yes, yes, YES, this is EXACTLY what I want from Snape/Hermione interaction! Her being reluctant and apprehensive, him being snarky and impatient, just THIS IS SO THEM.
