Title: Kiss

Albus Severus Potter Loved night time. He would be awake long after all of his fellow Gryffindor housemates simply because he suffered from insomnia. Although “suffered” wasn’t exactly the best word to describe the situation because Albus loved every minute he was awake while others slept. He spent the late night hours wandering around Hogwarts under his father’s invisibility cloak.
This particular night was a full moon, Albus’s favorite time of month. He loved being able to see everything clearly while it was still very dark out. He slowly and quietly made his way down the hall leading away from Gryffindor Tower, careful to stay hidden under the cloak. On cool nights like this one the brunet liked to start out on the Astronomy Tower and spend some time star gazing. On his way he passed an empty classroom that smelled faintly of dungbombs and smiled, remembering the shenanigans that had landed him a weeks worth of detention.
When he reached the tower he saw that it was not unoccupied as it usually was. Albus was curious as to why someone else was up here so late so he crept quietly closer. He realized a little late who the other person was. Standing barely five feet from Albus was the boy he’d fallen in love with three years ago: Scorpius Malfoy. Albus held his breath for a moment as the blond turned in his direction and looked right at the spot where he stood.
Then Scorpius turned back again, shrugging his shoulders slightly. Albus stood frozen to the spot and exhaled very slowly, trying not to make any noise. He watched the other teen for many moments as Scorpius simply looked up at the sky. Albus was just about to remove the invisibility cloak and reveal himself when Scorpius spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.
“Oh Albus,” he began and Albus took a step closer to the Ravenclaw. “Albus. Why do you do this to me?” Albus’s heart skipped a beat as Scorpius continued. “Why did I let myself fall in love with you?”
Albus decided then that he was dreaming. That was the only plausible explanation for the words that were coming out of his best friend’s mouth. Albus had fallen asleep without knowing it and was now dreaming. He pinched himself to prove it and hissed quietly at the pain.
So it wasn’t a dream then. Albus’s heart picked up its pace when the blonde turned back around and spoke again, chuckling softly, “I’m so in love with you that I can feel your presence even where you’re not really here.” Scorpius closed his eyes and Albus longed to reach out and touch him, but he also didn’t want to scare him.
Scorpius took a step om Albus’s direction. “If you were here right now I would wrap my arms around you, pull you close, and kiss you like you’ve never been kissed before.” Albus’s breath hitched as the other boy took another step towards him. They were barely inches apart now and if Albus didn’t move Scorpius would run right into him.
Scorpius smiled his sexiest smile and reached a hand out. He grasped the silky material of the cloak and pulled it off Albus slowly while speaking. “Did you forget that I knew about this?” Before Albus could form the answer in his mind Scorpius did exactly what he’d said he would: wrapped his arms around Albus, pulled him close, and kissed him like he’d never been kissed before.
