Title: Perfect Day

What a lovely day…
Luna was always a big fan of spring days. She loved the nice cool breeze against her cheek and she also loved the sunrays. She absolutely loved the sun. During winter, Luna counted down the days until spring because she always dreaded the cold. In her opinion, winter is some dull person who gets moody all the time. But spring is like a person who is laid back and loves to live to the fullest. She felt so good that she decided to take a nap.
“Um, Luna…”
“Luna.”
Then she felt someone was shaking her.
“Yes” she replyed while she was still napping.
“Why are you sleeping on the grass?”
“Because it’s springtime! When I was a little girl I always loved sleeping on the grass and take naps.”
She wanted to know who these people were and why they ruining her nap.
“Oh! Hi Harry! Hi Ron! Hi Hermione!”
“Hey Luna” said Harry.
“Do you guys want to join me?”
“Of course I do!” exclaimed Ron. He layed right next to Luna and both of them went back to sleep.
“Ron!” yelled Hermione, “You can’t take a nap now! We have transfiguration in five minuites and I know we don’t want to be late!”
“Oh come on Hermione! Live a little! It would be really good for you to skip classes once in while!”
“Ron” said Harry, “We have a test today and from what I heard from everybody, you are failing that class.”
“Fine…see ya Luna”
“Bye Luna.”
“Goodbye everyone!” Now I can go back to sleep
After a couple hours of sleeping, Luna woke and went to her Care of Magical Creatures class. She wished she was doing something else more exciting like taking walks in the forest or just looking at the sky.
When class was over, she walked to the Hall to get some lunch.
“Hi Luna!”
“Oh, hi Ginny!”
“How’s your day been?”
“Pretty good. I am loving this weather today!”
“Me too.”
“Ginny, what is your favorite season?”
“Um, my favorite season has to be spring or summer. What’s yours?”
“My favorite season is spring because I just love the sunshine.”
“That’s good.”
Luna didn’t have any more classes today so she decided to go on a walk. She walked through the hallways and saw some first year running to class trying not to be late. And then when she got outside, she took off her shoes and walked barefoot in the grass.
She loved walking in the grass barefooted. She loved how the dirt gets between her toes and it felt like she was back playing outside; and when she walking, she walked past Hagrid’s hut.
“Hello Hagrid!”
“Why, hello Luna! What a nice day were having! I just love the springtime!”
Luna smiled at Hagrid and then walked towards the Quidditch field to watch the Gryffindor team practice. This is probably the best day ever she thought, I wish everyday was like this.
