"Aiden! Where the hell were you? Over there? Having fun? Planning a party? Is that where you were supposed to be!? If you don't get it together, I will kick your arse off of this team!"
Victoria was a completely different person when she was on the pitch. Her easy going personality was discarded when she put on her quidditch robes and that became obvious when her teammates screwed up.
"Aiden! What the hell? What are you doing? I know it's getting late. I know you're tired. I don't care. We aren't leaving this pitch until we get this right, and we'll do that a lot quicker if you pull your head out of your arse and focus."
It took another forty-five minutes for them to perfect the play they'd been working on, but there was a very large smile on her face as they finally made their way into the locker room. They were going to pummel Slytherin.
"Great job out there," she told one of her teammates as she stripped off her robes. "Keep playing like that and the cup will be ours."
She was always the first one into the locker room and the last one out of it. She was captain, after all. That came with a certain amount of responsibility.
It was dark when she finally exited the locker room, and she pulled her wand from her pocket. "Lumos." That extra bit of light didn't keep her from jumping when she heard a voice off to her left.
"You don't get to scream at me like that just because we're snogging," it said.
"Merlin, Aiden! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"
"You don't get to scream at me just because we're snogging," he repeated.
"I didn't scream at you because we're snogging," she answered without hesitation. "You snog quite well. I would have no reason to scream at you for that. I was screaming at you because you weren't pulling your weight on the pitch."
With that, she shifted her bag on her shoulder and began to make her way up to the castle. It seemed her boyfriend could not be dissuaded, though.
"You didn't start screaming at me until after we started snogging," he insisted.
"Well, your performance didn't turn rotten until after we started snogging," she answered without giving him the courtesy of a glance.
"Listen, Victoria," he said suddenly as he grabbed her by the arm. "If that's how you're going to treat me, we're not going to work out."
Her eyes rolled at his threat. As if she couldn't snog half the school if she wanted to. "Well, if you're going to play like shite, I'm going to scream at you. If that means you don't want to snog, so be it."
Rather than waiting for him to respond, she shrugged out of his grasp and marched toward the castle.
"You know what," she called over her shoulder. "We're over. I don't fancy pansies."
