Harry let out a squeal of complaint as his cousins' fist flew towards him. Petunia moved their high chairs apart. Her hair was messy and lumps of wetabix adorned her haphazzardly buttoned dress.
"Come on Harry," she pleaded, nudging at her nephew's mouth with a spoon. She glanced at Dudley, squashing mush into his mouth. He was such a good little eater, and Harry never seemed hungry or to cry much. Petunia looked at the jagged scar that covered his forehead and sighed, shoving the spoon a little harder.
That second letter had ruined her life all over again.
Title: Merope's Potion
Summary: Merope gives Tom Riddle Sr the love potion.

To Merope, the potion smelled like soap clean skin and the scent of a cold, ice crisp morning. She had no idea what it it smelled like to Tom, though it was obvious from the way that he licked the last drop of it from his lips he'd enjoyed it. She had expected the effects of the potion to be immediately obvious, but he merely passed the cup back to her and smiled before encouring his horse along.
Merope watched after him, clutching the cup to her tightly. Once he was out of sight she ran a finger around the rim of the cup and pressed the couple of drops she found to her lips.
That night he came to her; ignoring the decaying snake draped across the front door to pound against it for her attention, then heaving a shoulder against the broken window in his eagerness.
