Title: Gryffindor
Summary: an acrostic poem describing Gryffindor
Genre: Poetry
Rating/Warnings: G
Medium: Acrostic
Word Count: 55

Gone through caves of dragons so many
Rare are those with the courage
Yet so many step up to the plate
Fun is what they call danger
For it is their middle name
In Gryffindor, you better be brave
Neither coward nor chicken allowed
Die fighting, and come back with your wand
Or your wand with you
Roar goes the mighty lion of GRYFFINDOR!

Chantal//Hufflepuff :)
I couldn't get my name below the other cut. stupid LJ.

Title: Sorting Hat Song
Summary: A sorting hat poem
Genre: Poetry
Rating/Warnings: G
Medium: Rhyming
Word Count: 145

Hello tis I, your sorting hat
To sing another song
It's been a year, seems like a month
Can't believe it's been this long.

I tell you now in time of peace
Friendship is still the tops
For what is there but to be nice
To your fellow houses, give them props

For perhaps you first years,
Excited, happy and gay
Are truly to be sorted
Upon this joyful day.

In Gryffindor, Perhaps you are
To seek the dragons fire
For courage is what's prized
In Gryffindor's upmost pire.

Or maybe it is Ravenclaw
Where you'll meet your friends
For it is through knowledge
That they achieve their ends.

If it's strength in loyalty
That you truly praise
Then it's really Hufflepuff
That you should spend your days.

And the of course theres Slytherin
the house of the snakes
Where to get what you want
you'll do anything it takes.

So step on up, and sit on down
And plop me on your head.
I'll rummage through and tell you where
You really should tread.
