a beast,
a moon waiting

Blood boiling,
blood dripping,
a cascade over broken skin
flooding over scars,
pouring into open wounds.
Memories,
flashes
a life before running
before cold woods
before counted food
A life,
an end
Fangs gleaming
a green snare closing over
Magic and life as a resistance
pieces of wood,
a bunch of words.
A memory
'dromeda in their first date
a rebellious existence
the moon from the astronomy tower,
a life fighting
intertwined hands
a death just the same
a kiss at midnight.
